It’s nearly over. We’re just about through the finish line. Hang in there, people.
Tomorrow will be my 41st time voting. That’s over four decades of exercising my 19th amendment right. Never have I so looked forward to it all just being over, regardless of who wins.
No matter what side we are on, I think the majority of us will agree that never before have we had such pitiful choices for the highest ranking office in our country.
The saddest part of this election cycle, in my opinion (aside from who our candidates are), has been the horrible fighting and lack of respect for opposing viewpoints. Logic, the ability to reason, all civility seems to have been abandoned.
For my part, I have simply been praying. Today is Day 8 of the novena I have been saying for our country. It ends tomorrow. I hope, regardless of who wins, that our nation will be healed, will find peace, and will return to the roots our country was founded on.
