On our travels this past weekend, we made a quick pit stop at a rest area off I-87 (aka the New York State Throughway). This rest area had a McDonald’s. I was kind of surprised at the new addition to their menu:
Yep, they have lobster rolls. Call me stuck up but I cannot imagine buying a lobster roll from a fast food place known for their burgers. I just can’t. I prefer that my lobster rolls come from Jordan’s.
If you want to run out to your local Mickey D’s right now, I have some bad news: they are only being sold in the New England area. You might ask, “Didn’t you just say you were in NY?” That is correct. It seems McD’s considers upstate NY to be part of New England. Please don’t break that news to Vermont or Maine because I’m pretty certain they wouldn’t like Yankees being considered New Englanders.
