My daughter’s first Mother’s Day was today and my first as a grandmother. When I went into the kitchen this morning for coffee, I found this next to the coffee pot:
I watched the little guy while his parents were at Church this morning. I read him this book as I had him on my lap. He looked at the book and smiled. That is, until I told my husband to get his iPhone and take a picture. Suddenly the little man decided he was hungry or bored or something and started crying.
Then it was off to brunch. The five adults ate until they nearly burst. The little guy slept. Apparently he is lulled to sleep by noisy places. I never saw a baby sleep that well in a restaurant. Mine sure didn’t.
I hope you all had a happy Mother’s Day (if appropriate) or made sure the mother in your life had one.
