What’s 14 in Dog Years?

Today is a birthday around here:

Nicky14

He was not terribly cooperative when Theresa tried putting his birthday hat on him to take a picture. I figure if he’s in his 90s, then heck, he’s entitled to lie down while having his picture taken.

    He deserves a cake….maybe an alpo cake or something but at least a cake.
    The momma kitten that had babies under my desk ran out the door a couple of hours ago and she hasn’t come back yet. She had BETTER COME BACK. I am not raising kittens like I had to the puppies. I think these animals think they can run around, get knocked up and leave them for me to take care of.

    Happy Birthday Nicky! Oh my, he’s a cutie!
    Don’t tell Linus he’s made it to 14. WonderDog just turned 3. Tonight Linus said, “You know, Mama, maybe we could find a family that’s never had a pet. Maybe WonderDog could go live with them, then we could get another pet. You know Mama, maybe we could get a hamster.” She’s already got a death wish for the dog, and the dog is only three!
