I have been getting ready for this Saturday’s Great Apple Festival. Do you think this is overkill:

apples

I am toying with the idea of making mini cheesecakes – caramel apple cheesecakes. I am also thinking of making apple rugelach. Since neither of those are an easy, just throw it together sort of dessert, they may not happen.

Because DIAL UP SUCKS I have been waiting around for 15 minutes looking at the top of a green bottle, the top of a brown bottle and a package of some sort that says seneca. Finally the rest loaded and I am glad to see apple jacks were included.

The Apple Jacks were for you because you said to get them. And so, I just had to. Usually I try to minimize the load time of the images but with this one, if I had done that, you wouldn’t be able to read the labels & know those are Apple Martini mix, hard cider, etc. And ya gotta love that name of the hard cider.

    You have my address.

The apple rugelach are in the oven. I made a little test batch of apple sangria. When Frank gets home from work, we will have to sample it. For those of you who don’t know what rugelach is – Jewish cookies. Really, really good cookies.
