Today, in addition to a second cortisone shot, I got something new. It’s a night splint. The idea is I’m supposed to wear it when I’m sleeping to keep that plantar ligament from tightening. Now y’all tell me, exactly how comfortable does this look?
Yeah, looks like great fun, eh? I bet you’re all jealous and you want one, too. Let’s hope I don’t accidentally kick Frank in my sleep. I can’t imagine that’ll feel all too well & the poor guy has enough to deal with, what with coughing his brains out and all.
