All of my 10 regular readers know my darling son has been in Australia for (counts on fingers…) 8 days. The only communication I got from him was a text message the day he arrived saying he got there safely. Last night I sent him a text asking when his flight gets in & he said at 12:10. I haven’t heard a word since. It is now 4 p.m. Presumably, he arrived back in NY 4 hours ago. His cellphone is turned off. Well either that or the battery died. I don’t know if he has a ride from the airport. I don’t know what airline he was on. I have no idea where he is. And I currently have on my headphones with music blasting so if someone came & banged on my door, saying my son was kidnapped, I wouldn’t hear them. Why am I blasting music? Well because I need to drown out the bass of my dumb ass neighbor who is currently parked out in front of his house with his freaking car stereo so loud that you can probably hear it 5 miles away. It’s either that or I go out with a shotgun and shoot out his speakers. Oh, wait. I don’t have a shotgun.
I have a 12 gauge full choke. Want to borrow it?

Yes, please. And I will use it to shoot my son who apparently doesn’t get home until tomorrow. Want to know how I found out? Because I had Frank call one of the seminarians who we’ve known forever. He said the guys in Australia don’t get home until tomorrow. He’s living at the seminary right now with the priest who will be picking them up from the airport tomorrow.
I am beyond furious with my son. You’d think somewhere along the line he’d have realized he told us he was coming home a day earlier than he actually was. For a smart boy, sometimes he can be so damn stupid.
Oops! Maybe it’s the time difference!
I don’t have a gun either, but surely you could do some damage with a baseball bat.
I have a gun safe full of guns for your shooting pleasure. I also have some rope, handcuffs (long story) chains and locks just in case you decide he needs to stay home with you awhile longer. Just sayin………
Wow, Katy! I had no idea you and SH liked the handcuffs and chains! Haha!
