Ring Me Up

Oh, wait. You can’t ring me up. It seems my cell phone charger has taken a little vacation Down Under. I made the mistake of leaving it out on the counter, the same counter that had all of Stephen’s chargers on it. Apparently he took it, along with all of his and it is now in Australia. I do not have an extra charger and my battery is just about on empty.

Now normally it wouldn’t be a big deal because not too many people use my cell phone to call me and those that do, know my home number. Except for one little problem – it seems the house phone, the land line that is supposed to be dependable, is acting weird. We haven’t yet determined whether it’s the cordless phone with the issue or if it’s the line itself. So far, when I used one of those old fashioned, plug in phones, the kind no one has anymore, the phone calls are fine. I have ordered a new cordless phone.

Meantime, I live in phone call limbo, not being able to count on either of my phones to work properly. Lucky thing there aren’t a whole lot of people I talk to, what with being a hermit & all.

Good luck with the phone problem. Do you have one of those little boxes on the outside of your house where the phone lines come in? You can open it and plug one of those old fashioned phones into it and it will let you know whether its your lines or the phone companies…I don’t know about there but around here they charge a lot just to come check it out.
