You know how half the country has been experiencing a nice little heat wave? Well here’s what happens when a cold front smacks into the hot air:

That little tent used to be in the yard next door. Last night Frank & I were looking out the front door at the wind. Sure maybe not so smart since it seemed to be blowing so hard, it could have taken that tree out front and hit us with it but hey, we like living on the edge. The wind was so loud, we had to look outside. I had no clue about the tent, however, until this morning.
You will note my little garden. I am so proud of myself because, this year, I didn’t kill one single plant. I started everything from seeds & they all survived.
You wanted a tent for your party? VOILA! Ask and you shall receive. BWAHA! I know, I know–not exactly what you had in mind, but that was the first thing I thought of when I saw that. And I also read that you have ordered the food to be catered from Luigi’s. What time will serving commence? I’m thinking you don’t need to worry about cleaning your house. Everybody will be gathered around the food!
The first thing Frank said when I told him about it was, “Oh, now we don’t have to rent a tent!”
My neighbor & his brother are out back this very minute attempting to dismantle it so they can return it to it’s proper home.
I KNEW there was a reason I like that Frank. Great minds and all!!!
Sounds like the cold front that went through here yesterday is still tracking
East. FYI the slightly cooler air it brings lasts for about 6 hours.
Hope the tent didn’t mess with your garden.
