And the reason why is my brain is dead. Seriously, I haven’t done this much thinking in ages. I guess my poor old brain just isn’t used to so much new stuff in one week. First I had to learn Linux. Now I have to learn Vista. It’s not that Vista is terribly complicated, it’s just different & things aren’t where I expect them to be. I did accomplish my #1 priority, though, and was able to restore all my emails. I pretty much keep all my emails. Yeah, I know I’m weird but half my life is in email.
Then there was the trip to the orthopedic doctor for Theresa to find out why her ankle still hurts after 3 weeks. How did she hurt it, you may wonder? Oh, well it seems she jumped on her friend. He reached around and grabbed her by her arm and leg and then accidentally dropped her. Considering the guy is probably 6′ tall, I figure she had to slam down on that ankle from about 3′. It turns out it’s probably tendinitis (gee, that sure sounds familiar!) and I have to make an appointment with a physical therapist.
Ask me if I got anything done for this huge party we’re having here in 2 1/2 weeks. Uh, the answer would be no. Tomorrow I need to order a tent, tables, chairs, food and start cleaning this place.
And that is why I am not blogging tonight. Oh, wait. I guess I did, eh?
