To amuse myself, I like seeing what search terms brought people to my blog. Most of them are mundane things like the ever famous “Muffin Man” theme. Today, there were 9 hits so far from people searching for Frank’s wives. My blog turns up in that search because of my story of Frank being a polygamist.
What I want to know is what prompted all these people from all across the US and Canada to search for that in the first place. I’m thinking their “Frank” is Frank Sinatra but still - there isn’t anything in the news about him that I could find. So this is a mystery. Why are people choosing today to search out Frank’s wives? Is it his birthday today or something?

Since someone was kind enough to explain to me why everyone is searching for Frank’s wives, I decided to return the favor and put the crossword puzzle answer here: Mia.

I think the most logical explanation is the right one — those are your Frank’s wives checking their own status on Google.

Hey Monkling - I am trying to synch up my new backup/travel laptop (MacBook Air) and I am wondering if you have the RSS feed thingy and if so how I can activate it. Nothing to do with Franks wives, but it is the particular reason why I checked in today in case you are making a spread sheet or something

I know nothing about Macs so if what I tell you is different for Macs, you need to ask Peggy for help. In Firefox, there’s a little orange RSS feed icon thingie in the address bar. If you click on that, it prompts you to bookmark the blog as a feed. In Explorer, no clue. There’s the same icon but when I clicked on it, all it did was show the blog as RSS and when I’m on that page, it won’t even allow me to bookmark it.
I use Google Reader for my RSS feeds. You’d think I could be more helpful than this, eh?
