I thought I had it perfectly planned. I thought I had escaped the surge of spam emails. Well, not entirely, but at least eliminated them from my real email address. About a year ago, I changed my email address. Actually I deleted it entirely and created a few new ones. One was for stuff like online shopping, signing up for stuff, etc. Another was for anything blog or website related. The third was the carefully guarded secret email address. I only gave it out to friends. It appears nowhere on any of my web pages. It should be completely safe. I am very disappointed today because I got my first spam to that email address.

I don’t see how the spam was able to climb over the barbwire fence that I so carefully put up. I say someone gave it out. Someone who doesn’t like me took my email address and just started splashing it all over the place. Okay, which one of you did it? Or was that email an April Fool’s joke?

On a completely different topic, I wonder how weird my blog posts will get next week after they begin to varnish my wood floors. Since they have to do one room at a time, it’ll span at least 6 days. This could get real interesting. Well if it’s warm out, of course I’ll open the windows but I am generally opposed to having windows opened if it’s only 50 degrees out. Yep, high flying blog posts coming to a blog near you. Starting Saturday… let’s see just how much weirder I can get.
