Anniversary Contest

This Friday, March 7th marks my 1 year anniversary on this blog. Almost 365 days of blogging with barely a day missed deserves a contest, don’t ya think?

I’m not quite sure what sort of contest it’s going to be. Nothing like waiting til the last minute, eh? I do know, however, what the prize will be: A $30 Amazon certificate. And I won’t even spend any of my own money on it because I earned a whopping $31 from doing a couple of online polls & surveys.

What I’d really like to do is another photo contest like I did this summer. The problem is, I’m going to have men working here starting tomorrow so I don’t want them to think I’m too strange. “What the heck is that lady doing taking pictures of little cereal men?”

I may do a little quiz. We’ll see what I come up with. Stay tuned.

I thought about having a contest and giving people a word of some sort and having them take a picture of what that word means to them. I’m not sure when that will happen though because it is property tax/prom/homecoming/flea market/income tax time. Next comes the 10 kids I know who are graduating. I’m thinking 2010.

Dang, I just looked at last summer’s contest. No way I’m creative enough to make something like that, much less guess the answers!

I think that I won a contest…yup, that’s it, I did! I won a contest and the prize was that you would give detailed instructions on how to put blogger awards in the sidebar. And I thought that was the neatest gift I had ever won from a contest. Because that’s something I’ve really been wanting to know. Just don’t ask me about the contest I won, because I don’t know. All I know is, I DID–I WON IT AND NOW I’D LIKE TO COLLECT MY PRIZE, PLEASE

THAT WAS THE BEST CONTEST-WINNING-PRIZE EVER  !

Seriously, thanks Monk. I have them all saved on my computer, so it will be easy peasy lemon squeezy–thanks to your instructions!!!! YAY!!! Slowly but surely, you’re bringing me into this century  !
