My children decided that there must be Christmas cookies in the house so they spent yesterday evening baking. We now have little Christmas trees and gingerbread men. Theresa is currently decorating the gingerbread men. Usually I don’t bother with that part. Here are a couple of cookies. One is Santa & the other is me. Can you guess which is which?

Yes, I would be the one with the big lump on my lip.
Then there was our Gilmore Girl moment. There was an episode in Season 2 involving Christmas & the ugly baby photo:
When Theresa came home from school Friday night and went to bed, guess what she found on her pillow. Yep, an ugly baby picture. She ran into my room & we were hysterical. When I got up the following morning, she had taped the photo to my computer.
As I’ve said before, we are easily amused.

I laughed so hard when I noticed the LIP LUMP!!!! Then, when I got over that, I had to wonder if you’ve gone completely gray-haired , what with everything you’ve had on your plate. I mean, according to The Cookie That Is You…YOU DID!!!! I’m so sorry, Monk
. Even with that, though, you still fared much better than Gingerbread Santa Man. He reminds me of a whole plethora of “Saturday Night Live” characters…including, but not limited to, “OOOOOH NOOOOOO” Mr. Bill. It is quite apparent to me that the “Monkling humor gene” was passed to Theresa–YAY!

For all I know, I could be completely gray by now. I don’t plan on finding out anytime soon, though. I was just discussing that very topic with my cousin the other night, saying it’s not fair that she takes after my mom (she has barely any gray) & I had to go take after her mom with the premature gray.

Thems be some scarey lookin’ cookies.
Oh and Kim, you are SO on the money with the Mr. Bill thing -no wonder they looked so familiar to me. And no, it wasn’t because I saw Monk and her lip ornament in church this morning either. *tee hee*

I was worried about the gray hair but the zombie eyes worried me a little more.

Merry Christmas to all — especially Giuliettis. May you have no fat lips in 2008.
