I am taking the day off from blogging today. You may as well not even come to read my blog because you won’t find anything interesting here. You especially won’t find any stories about how we went to Mass this morning and had to stifle our laughter when the priest gave the final blessing and said, “Peace be with ya’ll.”
Nope, nothing like that here today.

Our priest threatened us with “multitudes of decades of purgatory” if we told the secret about his 20th anniversary [party for being a deacon. I’m not even sure what “multitudes of decades” means, but I guess I’ll find out now.

Awww…that’s kinda cute! I love anything involving y’all. Multitudes of decades of purgatory? Not so much, I’m thinking! I’m not sure, but I’m thinking you only want to hear “multitudes of decades” in conjunction with really good things. Don’t y’all think so, too?
