I Feel So Smart Feeling Dipsy

Frank was wondering if San Antonio was named after The Saint Anthony (of Padua) or if there was another St. Anthony that the town was named for. Those of you who are not Catholic or don’t have any friends who are Catholic may not know this but St. Anthony is sort of the finder of lost items. There’s this special prayer you say when you can’t find something and he helps you find it.

We found out yes, this is the same St. which naturally got me wondering. If San Antonio is named for him, does their airport have the lowest incidences of lost luggage?

I don’t know about the airport, we’ve always driven to San Antonio. I did, however forget the camera with our honeymoon pictures in San Antonio about 14.5 years ago. I bet someone found it! I just wish that someone would have been me.

No idea, but they would have to have workers that pray to st. Anthony wouldn’t they?
My Aunt and Uncle have been trying to sell their home and they went to a local Catholic church and bought some saints statue from them to bury in the yard. It should be interesting to see if it helps.

Yep, Katy, you have to say the little prayer or else it won’t work. That’s why Jenn didn’t get her camera back.

However, I absolutely refuse to bury St. Joseph in order to sell my house. That, I think, is sacrilegious.

I know somebody who did the St. Joseph thing to sell her house, and it didn’t work. I, however, am going to try St. Anthony, for finding my memory. If I can find the right prayer, I’m gonna do it!
